Drinking the wakeup tea has lead some consumers to completely give up on coffee! The tea works uplifting, refreshing and revitalizing. Because of the high dosis of caffeine and minerals and vitamines, this could be your replacement for your daily cup of joe as well!!
Use of wake up tea
1 tablespoon of the wakeup mix is enough to make 1 cup of tea (250ml). Add boiling water and let it steep for 10-15minutes.
The package contains 80 grams of tea, composed of: Guarana, Rosehips, Hibiscus and apple/lemon flavour.
Guarana is a nut-like seed growing from the Paulinnia Cupana, orgininally found in the Amazon area of Brazil. It contains a high dosis of caffeine (2x higher then coffee!), which helps the plants to keep herbivors from eating its flowers and seeds. Mankind has started using these plants a long time ago to stay fit while hunting. Nowadays it is still used to make tea, soda and other drinks, because of the stimulating effects.
Rosehips are the berry-fruits of a rose plant, which are consumed not only in herbal teas, but also in marmelade, wine, pies and all kinds of beverages. The berries contain a very high dosis of vitamine C. During WW II, the people of Britain were encouraged by their government to make syrup from the rosehips, to make sure their infants wouldn’t suffer from vitamine deficiency.
Hibiscus, or Rose Mallow, contains a high dosis of vitamine C and is traditionally used as a mild type of medicine. Amongst results of the hibiscus flowers are blood pressure control and cure of inflammation.
